Hartford PAL Hockey Program

Hartford PAL Hockey provides the opportunity for boys and girls in the City of Hartford to play ice hockey at no cost to participants. The 2020-21 Hockey season is postponed due to the temporary closing of our facility due to the current building renovation and also the risk of the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to be back for the latter part of the 2021 season and indefinitely for the 2021-22 Hockey season.

The Hockey program is run by former professional hockey player and Wolfpack Assistant Coach Joe Mormina and is open to kids ages 7-14 who will take part in a learn to skate program which evolves to hockey skills, drills and fundamentals. We are fortunate to have the support of the XL Center which allows our program to utilize their facility.

Please check the PAL website calendar for times and dates at hartfordpal.org/calendar.

All interested parties should contact PAL Programing/Daily Operations Coordinator Officer Vinnie Marfella at (860) 757-4305marfv001@hartford.gov, or Director of Athletics Jon Esmail at (860) 522 - 9408 to register with the Hartford PAL prior to attending.
