In 2017 Hartford PAL was a proud presenter of the 2017 Capital City Fall Classic, a newly formed Fall Basketball League for the high school basketball teams in the City of Hartford. This league allowed for those teams to compete in a full schedule fall league free of charge to prepare them for their respective high school seasons. Played at the PAL facility, each Monday night 8 Hartford teams squared off in what would be a true city championship. Every team played one another once in the regular season, all teams made the playoffs, and the final four was played in front of a 4,000 person crowd at the XL Center on November 20, 2017. Multiple Media outlets were in attendance, regular and post season awards were presented, Joey Batts MC'ing, all while being captured by videographer Brooklyn which can be seen if you click the link

The 2017 CCFC Champion was Prince Tech. They defeated Hartford Public 65-61 in the league's inaugural championship. Delshawn Jackson Jr. took home regular season MVP honors and the tournament's Most Outstanding Player awards.

Hartford PAL is looking to expand its basketball program into youth league play Winter 2018. Please check back for details this fall.
