Mike Clifford - President

Mike is a 1988 graduate of Hall High School where he played soccer and hockey.  He lives in West Hartford with his wife, Heather, their boys, Ryan and Sean, and two rescue dogs.  In 1992, Mike graduated Le Moyne College with a B.S. Degree in Accounting and returned to his hometown of West Hartford.  His career began as a designer of electrical devices in the transit, life safety and power supply industries.  In 2000, Mike founded BRD Builders, a commercial general contracting business located in Hartford.  BRD Builders continues to successfully complete public and private projects throughout the State of Connecticut in the office, retail, municipal, state university, and multi-family housing markets.

Having worked in the North End of Hartford over the last twenty-five years, Mike has developed a strong connection to the community within our Capital City.  Since 2013, Mike has dedicated himself to the success of the Hartford PAL and the positive relationship it builds between the police department and the community it serves.

Mike also serves as the Treasurer of the CFM Foundation, best known for its annual football camp.  Additionally, it provides laptop computers to Hartford, college-bound students and provides additional program funding to educators within the Hartford school district.

In the past, Mike has also served as a board member of the South Park Inn Homeless Shelter in Hartford, and coached youth football and hockey.

The Clifford family are active volunteers and proud supporters of many organizations within our community.
